How to Order

As you might imagine, most of Margaret's work is custom and you will have a unique piece created to your specifications. Perhaps you would like personalize it with favorite pet or scene reproduced on a screen. Of course Margaret can paint on almost any surface from a typical canvas to your walls and ceilings!

The screens may be used as a real screen door which adds a degree of personalization to your home.

In a unique approach, home interior designers have sometimes utilized the screens in their design concepts, using them to dress up a wall. Several may be combined to create a truly unique divider piece.

The doors come with the necessary hardware to hang them on a wall or other solid surface.

Lead time

Sometimes Margaret may have a supply of screens available immediately, but don't count on it. She does tend to have several of the more popular ones around that she may use as display items in her own home, or at shows. These can often be had rather quickly but if you are needing a custom screen, plan on lead times of 4 to 12 weeks or more. It is best to contact her for an estimate on lead time, and especially if the screen is needed by a certain date.

Screen Sizing

Screen doors come in certain standard widths of 30", 32", and 36", therefore those are the sizes typically available. Any other size is a special order piece requiring building a custom door and resulting in additional charges.

Ordering

The Screen Products link to the left will display some of the most popular screens. To view a larger image of the screen, just click on the thumbnail image. This will take you to a new page that displays an enlarged image. It has an order form which may be utilized to order a screen. You may have to scroll down to view the entire list of screens on the order form.

You will have the option to "Print Order" or "Email Order".

If you choose to print the order, it will be printed on your own computer system. Print a copy to keep for your own records as well. Mail a copy, along with special instructions and the required funds to Margaret.

If you choose to email the order, both you and Margaret will receive a copy of the order. She will need to be contacted to make arrangements for payment.

 

Please be advised that Margaret will not begin custom work until the required deposit is received in good order. Payment in full will be required prior to the delivery of the product.

Shipping Details

Shipping method and charges will be determined near the time of completion. Baltimore Screens, while not heavy, are large and present interesting shipping scenarios. Screens delivered to locations within 75-100 miles from northern Atlanta are often delivered.
